Sir Alfred Sandlings Cowley. Born on the 24 April,
1848 at Fairford, Gloucester, England, the son of Isaac Cowley and his wife Charlotte
(nee Coppin). He married Marie Campbell at Pietermaritzburg on the 20 July, 1880. Sir Alfred Cowley died in Brisbane, Queensland on the
1 December, 1926.
